Jesper Jonsson was born on the island of Gotland but lives in Stockholm where he plays music as a drummer and writes songs and produces under the name of The Courage. 2010 he released a self titled full length album and since then The Courage has been releasing multiple singles and occationally played live. The music has been compared to David Bowie, LCD Soundsystem and Metronomy with it's mix of electronic beats, organic guitars and layered vocal harmonies. 2020 The Courage signed with Ella Ruth Institutet.
